WomenWork focuses on connecting women in various professions & trades, with a special guest speaker to discuss their particular journey. The small entrance fee goes directly to our charity drive, helping the girls of today grow to be the women of tomorrow. (Read more about this initiative below). 

Doors open at 7pm, presentation starts at 7:45pm. Space is limited; sign up now before you miss out!

The Women of Merit speaker for April is Cassia Weibel, Professional Athlete. 

Cassia Weibel is a Brazilian from Curitiba, Paraná. As a Professional Volleyball Athlete, she played for several important clubs in Brazil: Pinheiros / Paulistano / Military Circle of Parana, Brazilian Base Selection (World Youth Championship), and Brazilian Youth Team: South American Championships.

As a member of Rexona club, she won the Brazilian championship and vice-Brazilian championship, with ‘Bernardinho’ - one of the most successful coaches in the history of volleyball – as her coach. Cassia was also part of the Swiss team, playing in the European/Swiss championship for 3 years. Through volleyball, she learned English and French, and graduated with a Bachelor's in International Business. With her degree, she took a job as Import Manager for Walmart in Shenzhen, China for 3 years.

Nowadays she runs Wibe Comercial Imp. Exp. Ltda. as International Business Specialist, where she provides consulting for entrepreneurs who would like to start their own international activities, either import or export. Cassia volunteered as the volleyball coach for the American Society of São Paulo’s Youth Sports Program for 2 years.
