Agenda:

January 02nd – 25th TEAM REGISTRATION

January 30th TEAM MEMBER REGISTRATION DEADLINE

February 02nd TOURNAMENT – 1 Day

Times:

  • 07:45am – Warm-up and teams confirm registration/roster

  • 08:00am – Games begin

  • 16:20pm - Final Game

Rules:

Format

  • 6 players against 6 players (Min 10 / Max 15 players on a team´s roster (Open to all genders over 13)

  • 2 halves of 12 minutes (5-minute halftime break)

Equipment:

  • Required Team Jersey (all shirts the same color at the minimum)

  • Each team provides its own football

  • Players must use flags provided by AmSoc

Play:

  • Basic Flag Football rules with 3 contracted referees running each game

  • Three 1st down markers – at home 20; midfield and opposing 20 yard lines

  • 20 second clock between plays

  • Minimum contact possible

Cost:

  • Team Price - R$935,00 to be paid via Eventbrite by the Team leader before the 26th of January 2019. This sum can be reduced to R$ 850,00 if paid by direct deposit into the AmSoc bank account. In some cases it may be possible with previous arrangement with AmSoc for returning teams to pay cash on the day – (Cash ONLY) This works out to between R$ 55 to R$100 per team member.

Foods & Drinks:

  • Included in the team ticket price is an Energy bar for EACH REGISTERED PLAYER. The players can exchange their printed ticket for this at the event. Water will be readildy available and further food and drinks will be on sale at fair prices during the whole event.

No Team?

  • Still don't have a team but want to play? Buy a “Player who wants a Team” at no charge and the organizers will contact you with a Team placement if there is an available spot. This is on a first come first served basis. If selected for a team you will be expected to contribute your share of the Team entrance fee.

Want to learn to play to participate next year?

  • There are tickets available for AmSoc members and non-AmSoc members who would like instruction from a certified umpire from the APAEFA. This will be a held off the main fields and will involve learning the basic rules, moves and some practice opportunities. Depending on interest there may be several sessions. – Open to all ages and genders.
