Traditionally in the United States, Thanksgiving marks the beginning of the holiday season, and the good folks at Fellowship Community Church are once again partnering with AmSoc to get us in a joyous spirit.
The American Society and Fellowship Community Church will co-host the annual Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 22nd. The non-denominational service will start at 6 p.m., and will be followed by a food and drink reception, featuring traditional turkey sandwiches, sparkling wine and homemade desserts.
As is part of our tradition, we will be honored with the presence of Mr. Ricardo Zuniga, Consul General of the U.S. Consulate in São Paulo. If available, Consul General Zuniga will read President Obama’s Thanksgiving Proclamation for the assembled.
All denominations are welcome and AmSoc members are encouraged to attend with their friends and family. If you wish to contribute to the sweets, please contact David Warren at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The church is located at R. Carlos Sampaio, 107, Bela Vista, with convenient discounted parking at #176.
